New Program Offers the Next Level of Leadership Training at 澳门足彩app

Of the thousands of hours of programming and instruction 澳门足彩app’s Learning, Development & Engagement department provides to help team members grow personally and professionally, Leadership Series (LS) is the company’s premier leadership program.

LS participants are chosen from among those nominated by leadership. The three-part program spans a minimum of three years, and each part has a different focus:

• LS I covers self-awareness and professional growth.
• LS II covers organizational values and culture creation.
• LS III teaches coaching as a style of leadership.

Upon graduation, participants receive automatic access to Leadership Edge, a suite of offerings for continued learning. These offerings include Leadership Over Lunch, a quarterly opportunity for informal discussions with senior executives in and outside of 澳门足彩app, professional development workshop opportunities, and the Edge Retreat, a two-day professional development and networking event.

“The Edge Retreat is an exclusive retreat for those who have put in the time to develop themselves in LS,” said Liz Powell, Manager of Leadership Development. “We wanted to honor those who have already put forth the effort to commit to their development while giving them the next step in the process. We believe that leadership isn’t a one-and-done lesson learned.”

This year, 30 澳门足彩app participants convened at the Ponte Vedra Lodge & Club for the first Edge Retreat. The two-day programming included guest speakers, table discussions and networking opportunities with other graduates and executives.

“We selected the Ponte Vedra Lodge & Club as the location for this event because we wanted to provide a retreat from day-to-day stressors. Allowing your body to relax gives you the opportunity to receive new information and think creatively,” Powell said. “Not only did we provide great content and a space for good conversations, but also hopefully a chance for everyone to go back to their routine recharged.”

The first day included Ameren Illinois President and Chairman Leonard Singh, Jacksonville University President Tim Cost, and 澳门足彩app board members Andrea Inserra and Ann Schwister. Day 2 featured former Jacksonville Jaguars center and Hall of Fame Tony Boselli, former Wounded Warrior Project CEO and retired Lt. Gen Michael Linnington. 澳门足彩app Executive Leadership Team members also participated.

“We had a stacked agenda; it is what really brought the power of the retreat,” Powell said. “Board directors and other executives flew in for this event, which made those participating feel special to know people had traveled to invest in them. The speakers’ presence supercharged the event and emphasized our leadership’s attention and care for this group.”
